5-24-08: City of Stillwater Municipal Pool opens for the season Saturday, May 24
5-25-08/5-26-08: The Stillwater Public Library will be closed Sunday, May 25 and Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day
5-26-08: There will be no residential waste collection on Monday, May 26. When service returns to your area on Thursday, May 29, customers may place up to ten items (trash cans, bags, boxes) for curb-side pick up, which is double the normal limit. Waste Management Division will provide Commercial Service (Dumpster) on Memorial Day.
5-27-08: The City of Stillwater is rollin' out the welcome wagon for OSU's new President and First Lady, V. Burns and Ann Hargis, Tuesday, May 27 at the City of Stillwater Community Center from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The reception, which is opened to all area residents, will be hosted by Mayor Roger L. McMillian and the Stillwater City Council and the Community Singers' Barbershop Quartet is scheduled to perform.
5-27-08: Registration begins Tuesday, May 27 for a new YMCA/City of Stillwater Youth Sports Camp that will focus on sportsmanship as much as how to play the game. Sessions ages 4 to 12.

The Fleet Maintenance Division is responsible for the City of Stillwater's fleet of vehicles. This includes preventative maintenance on all vehicles to major repair work. With the opening of the Convenience Collection Center (8th & Perkins), the Fleet Maintenance Center no longer accepts used cooking oil, motor oil, antifreeze, rechargeable batteries less than two pounds, and car batteries for recycling.
