Councilor Amy Dzialowski was appointed by the Stillwater City Council to fill Seat 1 on May 14, 2018, and sworn into office on June 4, 2018. Will Joyce previously held Seat 1 before he was elected as mayor in April 2018. Her term will expire in April 2019.

She and her family moved to Stillwater in 2007 and immediately fell in love and immersed themselves in the community. She found a niche for community involvement and service through creating opportunities and advocating for children living with special needs. Since 2008, she has served on the board of Mya's Promise and has also served as the board's president. Their work has focused on early childhood opportunities for children with special needs through scholarship and grant awards to families, community grants, outreach programs and community partnerships.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and reading. She can often be found in the kitchen with family and friends baking or chocolate making.
