The Stillwater Utility Authority will hold public hearings at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, in the council chambers of the Stillwater Municipal Building, 723 S. Lewis St., Stillwater, Oklahoma. The purpose of the public hearing is to discuss the potential environmental impacts of the Authority’s proposed Water 2040 water distribution system. The proposed projects are identified in the Planning and Environmental Information Document and consist of the following major elements:

  1. 12,000 linear feet of 18-inch waterline from 1/4 mile North of the intersection of Sangre Road and 32nd Avenue to Western Road and 44th Avenue

  2. 15,500 linear feet of 18-inch waterline from the intersection of West 6th Avenue and South Pioneer Street to Western Road and 32nd Avenue

  3. Booster Pump Station located at 32nd Avenue and Western Road

The planning document which includes environmental information is on file and available for public inspection at the City’s Water Resources Administration Office located on the second floor of the Municipal Building, 723 S. Lewis St., Stillwater, Oklahoma. These documents provide a detailed description of the projects, cost, alternatives considered and environmental effects.
