The Operations Division leads the Emergency Services Division
Jory Stanley started at the Stillwater Fire Department on November 22, 1995, he promoted to Driver by 1998, and Medical Officer in 2003. He was then promoted to Chief of Training in 2015.
While working at SFD, Jory also worked for Tulsa LifeFlight and Eaglemed air ambulance service for 7 years.
While not at work Jory, spends time with his wife, July, and their two kids, Graysen and Taylor. He also enjoys playing softball and really any other sport in season.
David McGuire has worked for the Stillwater Fire Department for 23 years, holding the rank of Battalion for the past 2 years. He retired from the SPD special operations team after 12 years of service. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor in Law Enforcement Administration.
He grew up in Ardmore where his mother, Marsha, still resides. He has one son, Ethan, who lives with him here in Stillwater. He is also a member of the Stillwater Fire Hazmat team. David retired from the SPD special operations team after 12 years of service.
Former Captain, David Luckey, began his career with the Stillwater Fire Department in July of 1989. He was promoted from Firefighter to Captain in December of 2014.
Luckey graduated from Stillwater High School and then went on to complete 60 hours of education with OSU's Fire Protection Program. In 1986, Luckey began his firefighting career with the OSU Safety Department. Prior to joining SFD, he was hired on with Tonkawa Fire Department.
David is a nationally registered Paramedic, as well as a state-registered Intermediate Medical Technician.
During his time with SFD, he has completed training in NIMs 200-800, Haz-Mat Ops, Fire Instructor, EMS Instructor, National Fire Academy's Fire and Arson Cause and Determination, Rope Rescue Technician and Trench Collapse Technician. Luckey has also trained with OK Task Force 1 as a Structural Collapse Technician and has taught numerous EMS related courses through Meridian Technology Center. Since joining SFD, he has been a member of and participated in the Rescue Team, Honor Guard and the Stillwater Firefighters Clown Society.
In 2009, David married his wife Megan. Together, they have raised six children: Jacob, Dillon, Isabella, Lauren, Brooklyn and Jaden.
In his free time, David enjoys spending time with family, camping, fishing, and hunting.
Terry started his career with Stillwater Fire Dept. in the fall of 1997. He promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 2006, during that time he became a Nationally Registered Paramedic, and a PEER fitness instructor. He promoted to the rank of Captain in 2009, and served as a member of the Stillwater Police Department’s Special Operations team.
Terry has served as Battalion Chief since 2012, and during this time he has completed the first cohort of the Oklahoma Executive Fire Officer Leadership Program, City of Stillwater Leadership Academy, Oklahoma Municipal League’s Citizen Academy for Leadership, and has earned the Chief Fire Officer Designation through the Center for Public Safety Excellence. Terry has also attended multiple courses at the National Fire Academy in Emmetsburg Maryland, the Emergency Management Institute in Anniston Alabama, and New Mexico Tech in Deming New Mexico.
He is currently a member of the local board of big brothers big sisters, and also serves on Stillwater Public School Districts wellness and nutrition committee.
He is married to Amber Essary, who is a lead technologist at Stillwater Medical Center, and has a son, Taylor, and two daughters, Aspen and Timber.
