What We're Doing

The City of Stillwater and the Stillwater Utilities Authority will be constructing a new Elevated Storage Tank (EST) and water line along Yost Road.

Anticipated Milestones

  • Anticipated Date (Design): to be completed FY21
  • Anticipated Date (Construction): FY21
  • Anticipated Date (Completion): FY22

Benefits of the Project

The existing Yost BPS and School Tower do not meet the demands of the northern areas of the rural water system. A new finished water pump station at the Water Treatment Plant will house pumps used to fill the Yost Tower. The new 350,000 gallon EST will be located at the existing School Tower site, and 1.5 miles of 8 inch water line will connect the new WTP pump station and EST. The new water line is necessary to accommodate the increased pressures.

Budget & Funding
