Yost Booster Pump Station, Tower & Water Line Replacement

Yost Booster Pump Station, Tower & Water Line Replacement

Project Manager

Water Resources / David Barth, P.E.

SUA Project No. 13WG18

What We're Doing

The City of Stillwater and the Stillwater Utilities Authority will be constructing a new Booster Pump Station (BPS), Elevated Storage Tank (EST), and water line.

Benefits

The existing Yost BPS and School Tower do not meet the demands of the northern areas of the rural water system. The new BPS will be constructed at the Water Treatment plant, the new 350,000 gallon EST will be located at the existing School Tower site, and 1.5 miles of 6 inch water line will connect the new BPS and EST. The new water line is necessary to accommodate the increased pressures.

How We're Paying For It

Funds for the construction of the project and associated services will come from the City's Water Capital Fund.
