What We're Doing

The U.S. Route 177 (Perkins Road) Water Line Replacement Project replaces up to 4,150ft of 12-inch water line along the west side of US-177 between approximately 32nd Ave and 42nd Ave.

This new water line will be subject to higher pressures than the old line. Due to the new pressures, some private service lines will need a pressure reducing valve (PRV) to lower the water pressure before it enters the homes. These PRVs are being provided by the City for the customers to own and operate.

Three community (main line) PRVs will be installed and will be owned and operated by the City.
