City Clerk's Office

The city manager appoints the city clerk with the approval of the Stillwater City Council. The city clerk serves as the custodian of the City’s seal and archives, some of which date back to the 1880s.


Responsibilities

  • Attend Stillwater City Council and Trust Authority meetings.

  • Record, transcribe and prepare the official City Council and Trust Authority meeting minutes.

  • Archive in record books original ordinances and resolutions passed by the governing body.

  • Attest and affix the seal of the City to documents as required by law or by ordinance.
