Depending on the nature of the event (and following the submission of the Special Events Permit Application), the Special Events Coordinator may schedule a City Review Meeting after the Special Event Permit Application has been approved.
The City Review Meeting will be held at city hall (723 S. Lewis St.) during regular business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday).
The Special Events Coordinator will assist you in preparing the Special Event Planning Packet for the meeting.
The Event Organizer(s) must be present. Representatives from multiple city departments and affected agencies will review and discuss your event plans.
Additional permits or challenges may be identified during or after the City Review Meeting.
Event organizers(s) may be required to submit a Special Event Planning Packet that will be reviewed at a City Review Meeting. The Special Event Planning Packet may include any combination of the following plans and topics:

Staging area and route maps for walks and runs
Fire lanes
Parking
Volunteer stations and staging areas
Location of trash cans, restrooms, generators, vendors, amusement rides
First aid stations
Building or tent entrances and exits
Fireworks fall-out zones and launching areas
Stage locations
