(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / April 7, 2020) –Stillwater City Council met for a special meeting Monday, April 6 over a public videoconference. If you missed yesterday’s meetings, catch up with the highlights below or watch the YouTube replay on the City of Stillwater TV.
b. Approved bid recommendation for mill and overlay of Western Road from 3rd Avenue to Virginia Avenue and Hall of Fame Avenue from Ridge Road to Monroe Street

Ordinances
Adopted an ordinance regarding property addressed as 1724 N Jardot Road to rezone the south 140 feet from A, Agriculture District, to RSS, Residential Small Lot, Single Family Residential District, and to rezone the north 507.4 feet from A, Agriculture District, to CG, Commercial General District
The next City Council meeting are scheduled for Monday, April 13, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be a study session over the City budget, held over videoconference.

City Council & SUA to hold special meetings Monday, discuss COVID-19
MEDIA RELEASE
(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / April 3, 2020) – Stillwater City Council and Stillwater Utilities Authority will meet over videoconference for special meetings this Monday, April 6.
The meeting will be held entirely over Zoom, a videoconference platform. Residents should watch virtually— there will be no meeting on-site at the Stillwater Municipal Building.

This meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be broadcast as usual. Residents can watch the meeting live on the City's Facebook Page (@CityOfStillwater), AT&T U-verse channel 99, Suddenlink channel 14 and the City of Stillwater’sYouTube Live link at youtube.com/c/CityofStillwaterTV/live.

For those wishing to speak via teleconferencing, please provide a phone number and someone will call you before the public comments portion of the agenda to place you in a queue. Requests to speak must be submitted by 3 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
In response to the COVID-19 virus and the ongoing social distancing guidance issued by President Trump, Governor Stitt, and national and state public health entities, amendments were made to the Open Meetings Act that allow for public bodies subject to the Open Meetings Act to hold “virtual meetings” via videoconference and teleconference.
