Traffic Signal Damaged: Two-Way Stop at 6th & Kings Street

(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / Dec. 16, 2019) – The traffic light in front of Westwood Elementary School at 6th Avenue and Kings Street was damaged by a construction vehicle on Friday. The intersection is temporarily a two-way stop and access to Kings Street from 6th Avenue is blocked while crews work to fix the damage.
The City of Stillwater encourages those commuting through the intersection to prepare for travel delays and remain alert as Westwood students use the intersection.
The traffic light is expected to be repaired and operating by the end of today.
