Stillwater signs agreement with Azerbaijani city

(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / Nov. 11, 2019) – Last week, the City of Stillwater and Gadabay, Azerbaijan signed a cooperation document as part of the Oklahoma-Azerbaijan Agriculture Forum.

Shown above, Stillwater City Councilor Amy Dzialowski and Head of Gadabay Executive Authority Ibrahim Mustafayev shake hands after the signing, which marks the beginning of an economic and agricultural partnership.

“It was an honor representing the City of Stillwater Friday night,” Dzialowski said. “Developing this relationship with Gadabay means more opportunities for both cities. Networking and sharing ideas can strengthen our economies and promote cultural understanding.”

The Oklahoma-Azerbaijan Agriculture Forum features field experts, private sector, agribusiness executives, and agriculture authorities from Oklahoma and Azerbaijan.
