(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / July 9, 2019) – Stillwater City Council and the Stillwater Utilities Authority met for regular meetings on Monday, July 8 in the Council Hearing Room at 723 S. Lewis. City Council

  • Approved request from Block 34 Trust to secure funding and guide final engineering/design of an outdoor stage per the recommended concept, and approved the construction of the outdoor stage, related systems and landscaping (CC-19-100)
  • Authorized the removal of the concrete alleyways and fill, grade, sod and irrigate to improve user mobility and the aesthetic of Block 34 prior to the Pop-Up Shops event in November (CC-19-101)
  • Approved plan and preliminary sketch for a mural design for the Block 34 southwest corner wind turbine fence (CC-19-102)

Stillwater Utilities Authority

  • Authorized expenditures from the electric Rate Stabilization Fund for the purchase of 12 uninterruptible power supply systems for installation on traffic signals from Gades Sales Company Inc. (SUA-19-31)

The next City Council, SUA and SEDA meetings are scheduled for Monday, July 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Hearing Room at 723 S. Lewis.
