MEDIA RELEASE

(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / June 11, 2019) – Stillwater City Council was impressed with the number of residents who attended the special meeting this past Monday to talk about future infrastructure projects, multimodal transportation and more.

The Council Hearing Room was full of interested residents, business owners and students who wanted to learn more about Stillwater’s transportation system, with 21 of the visitors signing up to speak about the transportation challenges and opportunities they see in our community.

The City Councilors express their thanks to the individuals who participated in the discussion and attended the meeting. They are also encouraging all residents to attend future meetings and reach out to them about other topics affecting our community.

The Council would also like residents to know they can still submit input on transportation issues. As part of the town hall, guests were asked to prioritize a list of 15 transportation projects the City is considering.
