City of Stillwater Waste Management Director appointed to Keep Oklahoma Beautiful Board of Directors

(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / April 11, 2019) – The City of Stillwater congratulates Waste Management Director/Safety Manager Chris Knight on his appointment to the Keep Oklahoma Beautiful Board of Directors.

Knight will begin his three-year term July 1, 2019. The board meets every other month and helps guide a program that targets grassroots efforts of Oklahomans involved with community and environmental improvement.

“Keep Oklahoma Beautiful is an organization I am incredibly passionate about, and I am proud to represent Stillwater on a statewide level,” Knight said. “I look forward to working with my fellow board members to further the organization’s mission to empower Oklahomans to preserve and enhance the state’s natural beauty and ensure a healthy, sustainable environment.”

Keep Oklahoma Beautiful is a state affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, a nonprofit organization with a national network of nearly 1,000 participating organizations working together to improve communities through litter prevention, waste reduction and beautification. Keep American Beautiful combines education with hands-on stewardship to address the needs of communities on a local level.
