Residents invited to pinning ceremony for new chief of police, assistant chief

(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / Jan. 28, 2019) – Community members are invited to witness a pinning ceremony for our newest chief of police and assistant chief of the Stillwater Police Department.

Chief of Police Jeff Watts and Assistant Chief Shannon Jordan will be pinned in a ceremony on Friday, Feb. 1. The ceremony will start at 3 p.m. in the Council Hearing Room at the Stillwater Municipal Building, 723. S. Lewis St.

The ceremony will also broadcast live on Suddenlink channel 14 and AT&T U-verse channel 99 for those who cannot attend in person. A recording of the ceremony will also replay on the stations through the month of February and put on the Stillwater Police Department’s YouTube page.
