(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / March 13, 2017) – Are you a City of Stillwater electric customer? If so, you can now report your power outages online and follow the process until your power is restored.
According to Electric Utility Director Loren Smith, “An online reporting system is something our customers have been asking for and we are proud to provide it.”
To access the system, go to http://stillwater.org and follow the Online Services tab to Report Power Outage.
Once there, you will see a map of Stillwater. This map will show if there are any power outages for Stillwater electric customers.
“Even if you think the outage in your neighborhood has been reported, we need everyone to report their outage,” Smith said. “The more data we can collect about outages the better service we can provide.”
Users are asked to provide the following information when submitting a report:
Utility Account Number and/or Phone Number
Additional Comments (Optional)
Request a Call Back (Optional; must enter utility account number to work)
Entering an account number is not required, but is preferred. Type utility account numbers out as listed on the utility bill, including all digits and dashes.
The City encourages customers to use the phone number associated with their utility account number. To see what phone number is associated with an account, residents should check their utility bill or account online, or contact Utility Customer Service at 405.742.8245 during regular business hours.
Customers can still call the 24-hour assistance phone number at 405.372.3292 to report power outages and also problems with water or sewer services. It is important to use the phone number associated with the utility account when calling this number, also.
