Stillwater Airport Roofing Material Runoff Situation

STILLWATER, OK — On Sunday at the Stillwater Regional Airport, contractors applied coating to roofs as part of general maintenance upgrades. The coating was not completely dry prior to overnight rain, therefore, it washed off of the roofs, down the storm drains and into a nearby pond north of Sanborn Lake.

City Council Election Scheduled, Filing Period Begins Dec. 5

(Stillwater, OK) — The Stillwater City Council has approved a resolution setting an election date for City Council seats 1 and 2. The general election will be held Feb. 14, 2023 and, if necessary, a runoff election will be held April 4.

City of Stillwater Applies for Grant Funding to Begin Rail-to-Trail Project

(Stillwater, OK) — The Stillwater City Council has authorized city staff to apply for a $1.2 million Transportation Alternatives Grant from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation that would cover most of the cost to convert unused railroad track running through the center of town into a multi-use trail. Converting a portion of the Stillwater Central Line railway would help complete a trail system that connects Stillwater north to south.

Groundbreaking Celebrates Construction of Stillwater Community Center Accessibility Improvements
