City of Stillwater budget information is available online. Every year since 1981, the Finance Department has earned a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Associations of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR). - Ethics & Hiring Information

The official posting of the agendas is located at the Police and Municipal Building, 723 S. Lewis St. Official council minutes are kept in the City Clerk's Office. - Open Records/Open Meetings
The City of Stillwater follows the Oklahoma Open Records Act and the Oklahoma Open Meetings Act. The Open Records Act is a series of laws designed to guarantee that the public has access to public records of governmental bodies in Oklahoma. The Open Meetings Act legislates the methods by which public meetings are conducted.

The City of Stillwater is committed to maintaining citizens' online privacy. Personal information is not collected without your permission. - Public Safety Information
Crime statistics, most wanted and other reports are easily accessible to the public. Also, information collected for Code Red/Storm Shelter registration is confidential. - Payments and Right to Privacy
Utilities Customer Service is not a financial institution, nor does it engage in providing financial services. The law does not permit the office to release social security numbers (SSN). Customers do not have to provide their SSN to open an account. Any photo identification to substantiate the signature of the customer and proof of age (18) is acceptable. The required deposit is the maximum amount permitted by city resolution if SSN is not provided.
