Special Residential Collection Options
The City of Stillwater is please to offer a variety of special cleanup options to our customers. To schedule any of these services, contact Utility Customer Service.
- Bulk Item Pick-Up Service
If you need to get rid of furniture, appliances or electronics that won’t fit in your Blue Cart or Pay-As-You-Throw Blue Bag, call Utility Customer Service and arrange for a special Bulk Item Pick Up ($20 per item). TIP: You may decide to drop-off bulk items at the Convenience Collection Center for a reduced fee. - Disability House-Side Service
Residents who have difficulty maneuvering Blue Carts to the curb are eligible to receive once-per-week house-side service. - Extra Blue Cart Service
Did you know you can call Utility Customer Service to schedule an extra Blue Cart dump on the day you need it? For a $5 fee, city staff will empty your Blue Cart on a day other than your regular route day. Useful, for example, if you are leaving for vacation and you need to empty your cart so it's not left at the curb. - Household Hazardous Waste Event

In addition to the two Semi-Annual Trash Collection, you may schedule the pick-up of moving boxes and other packing materials at no charge. This request is limited to only boxes and packing materials. - OSU Student Annual Move-Out Cleanup
Ask about our special OSU student cleanup that is offered at the end of each spring semester. - Outside City Limits Service
The City's Blue Cart service is available to residents (and commercial entities) within three-miles of the Stillwater's city limits. - Pay-As-You-Throw Blue Bags
If you occasionally have more household trash than will fit in your Blue Cart, consider requesting a larger Blue Cart or purchase our 35-gallon Pay-As-You-Throw Blue Bags. Place them curbside on your collection day, and Waste Management crews will pick them up. Sold at the City of Stillwater Convenience Collection Center and at local OnCue Express stores. - Roll-Off Rentals
Have a short-term remodel project or a residential cleanup job? If so, consider renting a temporary dumpster.
- Semi-Annual Trash Collection
For those annual or semiannual clean-up projects you may have, as a residential customer you are allowed to schedule up to two special clean-ups at your address within any twelve-month period.
