City of Stillwater Environmental Programs
Environmental Programs manages compliance for local, state, and federal regulations. We keep abreast of changes and/or additions to environmental laws. The program, which is a division of the Stillwater Utilities Authority, is a resource for all city departments. For example, we assist Electric Utility and Water Utilities with water- and air-quality compliance concerns.
Environmental Programs is also responsible for the Industrial Pretreatment Program. We provide information, sampling and other services for this program as necessary.
We also organized annual residential collection events, like the Stillwater Trash-Off (picking up trash in parks and public areas) and the Household Hazardous Waste Collection (collecting materials that can't be dropped-off at the City's Convenience Collection Center).
