Organizational Structure

At the heart of all sister city programs is an agreement signed by the mayor of each city. This agreement is a commitment to send and receive delegations of various types, including political and business leaders, arts and cultural representatives, educators and technical experts. View agreement.

The Stillwater Sister Cities Program (SSCP) is supported by the City of Stillwater and a committee of volunteers who are interested in promoting international friendship and goodwill. The program works in cooperation with the State of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater Public Schools, various community organizations and governmental agencies.

SSCP is partially funded by the City of Stillwater and contributions from generous donors.

We are a chapter of Sister Cities International.
