- About the Facility
Lessons are offered at the City of Stillwater Municipal Pool, 800 E. 12th Ave. The facility features a 400,000-gallon pool with six 50-meter lanes; a 12-foot diving well; two slides; a separate, gated wading pool for younger children; and concession with a shaded seating area. - About the Learn to Swim Program
The Learn to Swim Program follows an outline designed by the American Red Cross and taught by certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. Classes for beginners through advanced swimmers are offered for children and adults. Participates must be able to complete all skills for each level before progressing to the next level.

Lifeguards/Swim Instructors
The City of Stillwater Municipal Pool begins its job search for lifeguards and swim instructors in February. To qualify, a successful applicant needs to have completed his/her lifeguard training, American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) course, and CPR. Openings will be listed here. - Learn to Swim Enrollment for Summer 2013
Enroll in the Learn to Swim Program. Begin by completing the Activity Registration Form.
Lessons are $50 per person per session.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are offered throughout the season. The 30-minute, one-week sessions meet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Times for private lessons will be determined based on the availability of instructors. Cost for private lessons will be $80 per week. This class will give parents and tots (6 months to 3 years) an opportunity to enjoy the water together. The instructor will emphasize adjusting to the water and developing a positive attitude about water. |
