Welcome to the Building Safety Division. As our name implies, we serve the community by ensuring public safety in the built environment. Our staff can help you in find solutions to achieve a successful project that is safe, code-compliant and cost-effective. We emphasize education over enforcement, and your questions are always welcome.
The City provides a full range of plan review and inspection services for new construction, alterations and for plumbing, mechanical and electrical installations or equipment replacements.
City inspectors are licensed by the State of Oklahoma in the inspection disciplines for which they are responsible. Plan review and inspection services are provided through a permitting process.
