Valid driver’s license, Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field and one year experience with primary function as an accountant or financial analyst.
Description:

05-21 Accountant I: The position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the financial records of the City, assisting with the annual preparation of the City financial reports and compliance with financial regulations. This is a self-directed position requiring the ability to understand account reconciliations and complete non-routine journal entries. This position is on a progression with defined pay increases as skills and knowledge are gained through on the job training and certifications are earned. Requirements: Valid driver’s license, Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field and one year experience with primary function as an accountant or financial analyst. Starting rate: $50,000 per year plus comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and retirement. A cover letter, resume and City of Stillwater application are required for consideration. Closing date: 1/29/21
