Graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering, planning, public administration or related field; Master’s degree in urban or regional planning is preferred. A minimum of eight years of increasingly responsible experience as a senior level planner or as a review engineer for a municipality, a minimum of four years administrative and supervisory responsibility, and AICP certification or registration as a Professional Engineer are also required. Valid driver’s license,

Manage and coordinate activities of the Development Review division for the City of Stillwater, including planning, engineering and building safety. Responsible for providing development review services to land owners/developers and development consultants and contractors, providing high customer service and professional assistance to customers. Duties: Plan, organize and oversee the development review function of the City of Stillwater. This position also provides a high level of customer service and professional engineering assistance for all city departments, citizens, developers, and designers.

Requirements: Bachelor degree in civil engineering, planning, public administration or related field; Minimum 6 years municipal experience as development review engineer or as design engineer for private engineering consulting firm; Minimum 4 years administrative or supervisory responsibility; Registration as a Professional Engineer; and a valid driver’s license.

Salary Range: $71,156–$101,483 per year, DOQ, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
