Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license is required. One year technical training or schooling or on-the-job experience is preferred. Must be able to obtain a valid Class D Wastewater Operator’s license within six months of hire. A class C or higher Wastewater Operator license is preferred.
Description:

66-20  Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator (Water Utilities):  Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the operational duties of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Operate and perform regular inspections, minor maintenance and custodial duties of plant and related wastewater equipment.  Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license is required.  One year technical training or schooling or on-the-job experience is preferred. Must be able to obtain a valid Class D Wastewater Operator’s license within six months of hire. A class C or higher Wastewater Operator license is preferred. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with rotating weekend shifts.  Starting rate: $14.22-$18.01/hr DOQ plus comprehensive benefits package. A completed City of Stillwater application is required for consideration. Closing Date: 09/03/2020
