  • 34-15 Firefighter I/EMT- A

    The City of Stillwater is currently accepting applications for Firefighter I/ EMT-A. Candidates applying should be licensed as an EMT- A, EMT-I or EMT-P with one year of verifiable experience in EMS, Firefighting, Public Safety, Emergency Management or Military Service. Candidates applying as an EMT-B must have the ability to become licensed as an EMT-A within 18 months of employment; and should possess certifications as Firefighter 1 & 2, Haz-Mat Operations, NIMS 100,200 and 700, or equivalent training through military service, IFSAC , Pro-Board, or an accredited university. All candidates must successfully complete the CPAT. (CPAT is not required for members currently in the Oklahoma Firefighter Retirement System) Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements of the Oklahoma Firefighter Pension and Retirement System and pass an extensive background check prior to employment. Starting rate: $12.52 hour (annualized base rate: $36,458.24), with a competitive, comprehensive benefit package.   • 35-15 Dispatcher I (Police)

    Facilitate communication between citizens and multi-agency emergency personnel. Candidate will receive training in advanced communication and computer technologies, and work in a fast paced environment where they will be challenged to continually learn and develop your skills. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license. Submission of data entry and typing test results required with application.   • 27-15 Seasonal Community Center Technical Services (Parks and Recreation)

    Operates sound and/or light systems for all parts of the City of Stillwater Community Center, as requested. The position will require working evenings and weekends and the number of hours worked will depend upon the scheduled event. Requirements: Valid driver’s license; Sound and lighting experience preferred. Starting rate: $10.49 per hour. Closing date: Open Until Filled

  • 42-15 Part-Time Kennel Assistant (Animal Welfare)

    Responsible for kennel duties such as feeding, vaccinating, bathing, etc., creating a healthy environment for the animals by maintaining the building, grounds, and equipment, and providing a pleasant experience for the visiting public. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license; ability to obtain Oklahoma license within thirty days of hire. Experience handling and caring for animals is desired. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a.m.-12:00p.m. Starting rate $10.18 per hour. Closing date: 6/4/15

  • 44-15 Switchboard Operator (Human Resources)

    Perform switchboard duties and provide general clerical support for the City of Stillwater. Answer and transfer all incoming telephone calls, answer questions, and direct visitors to appropriate departments. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; clerical experience preferred. Approximately 22.5 hours/week; M-F 8:00a.m.- 12:30p.m. Starting rate: $10.80/hour. Closing date: 06/04/15; First consideration on 5/28/15.
