- 39-15 Engineering Technologist (Electric)
Develop, oversee and manage customer programs and assist in the preparation and maintenance of electrical project estimates, bids, contracts, records, and files. This position will also gather and process data for engineering studies, assist with project research and complete special projects as assigned. Requirements: Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain Oklahoma license within thirty days of hire and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology; power emphasis preferred. Two years of experience within an electric utility is preferred but not required. Salary: $82,388.80 per year, plus comprehensive benefits package. - 46-15 Senior Accountant (Budget and Analysis)
Perform a variety of responsible accounting, reporting, budgeting, and analysis functions. Position will primarily focus on (1) preparation of annual budget document, annual revenue estimates, and related schedules, (2) analysis of budget, utility rates, cash flows, etc. (3) other special projects as assigned. Requirements: Valid driver’s license, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field, three years increasingly responsible experience in Accounting or Finance, and demonstrated experience in data analysis and reporting. Experience with municipal accounting laws and procedures, municipal government accounting, utility accounting, and utility rate structures preferred. - 49-15 Maintenance Worker (Airport Operations)
Provide a variety of duties related to mowing, construction, repair and maintenance of airport premises, including parking areas, terminal building, hangars, ramps, runways, taxiways, airfield, and safety areas; janitorial and landscape maintenance services on the Stillwater Regional Airport facilities and grounds. Perform aircraft rescue firefighting services and FAR 139 inspections (will provide training for these areas). Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, ability to obtain a valid Class B Oklahoma CDL within 6 months, and 1 year experience in construction and/or maintenance of buildings, grounds, or facilities or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Will be required to work shift work, weekends, and unusual hours and to be available on an “on-call” basis. Starting range: $12.50-$13.27 per hour, comprehensive benefits package. - 50-15 Senior Utility Maintenance Worker (Water Utilities)
The Senior Utility Maintenance Worker position is the fully skilled and experienced level in the maintenance series. It is distinguished from the Maintenance Worker II position by having greater responsibility and autonomy. Employees assigned to this classification are assigned responsibility for certain functions, facilities, systems, or types of work and have discretion to plan and carry out work. A Senior Utility Maintenance Worker performs a variety of fully skilled activities as part of a crew, and/or independently, the purpose of which is to construct, maintain, and repair the City's water and wastewater systems. A Senior Utility Maintenance Worker may be delegated authority and responsibility for a small group of employees for a designated period of time. This position performs heavy manual labor in addition to operating a variety of hand and power tools and motorized equipment used in the construction, repair and maintenance of water and sewer utility systems. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, “C” Water and Wastewater operator’s licenses, Class B CDL with air brake certification, and two years of directly related experience in the construction, maintenance, and repair of water distribution and/or sanitary sewer collection systems. Salary range: $16.82-23.99. Closing date: 7/16/15
- 27-15 Community Center Technical Services (Parks and Recreation)
Operates sound and/or light systems for all parts of the City of Stillwater Community Center, as requested. The position will require working evenings and weekends and the number of hours worked will depend upon the scheduled event. Requirements: Valid driver’s license; Sound and lighting experience preferred. Starting rate: $10.49 per hour. Closing date: Open Until Filled
- 52-15 Office Aide (Park & Recreation)
Greet customers, answer phone calls, relay messages, and register participants for programs. Tasks would be performed between three different facilities: Armory Recreation Center, Senior Center, and Community Center. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; ability to obtain Oklahoma license within 30 days of hire. Typical work hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00a.m. – 1:00p.m., Thursdays 9:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. and 5p.m.-9p.m. Starting rate: $8.03 per hour. Closing date: 7/16/15
