- 81-16 Operator B (Water Treatment)
Perform a variety of tasks in the operational duties of the City of Stillwater Water Treatment Facilities including monitoring and adjusting treatment processes, maintenance and inspections of the plant and related equipment, laboratory analysis on water samples, etc. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, Class B Water Works Operator license, and one year demonstrated experience performing Class B Water Treatment Operator duties. This position will be required to work a variety of rotating shifts. Pay Range: $16.82 - $23.99 per hour, DOQ, plus a comprehensive benefits package. - 82-16 Safety Coordinator (Human Resources)
Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to ensure employees are provided a safe work environment. Ensure the appropriate safety training is provided for employees and perform internal safety audits of City facilities to assure compliance with laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals. Requirements: Valid driver’s license and a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in environmental science and/or industrial safety or a related field. Five years of responsible experience in the industrial safety field as a safety coordinator or equivalent may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree. Salary Range: $21.95 – $31.30 per hour, DOQ, plus comprehensive benefits package. A resume, cover letter, and completed City of Stillwater application are required for consideration. - 83-16 Maintenance Worker I (Operations)
Utilize a variety of tools, light and heavy equipment to perform work in the construction, maintenance and repair of City water and wastewater systems, streets, parks and facilities. Duties may be performed within Field Services and/or Water Utilities divisions. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred. Must obtain Oklahoma license within thirty days of hire and Class B CDL with air brake endorsement within six months of hire. Starting rate: $12.50 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits package. - 84-16 Utility Service Representative (Customer Service)
Connect and disconnect service for both electric and water meters, resolve problem conditions with meter readings, and perform minor maintenance of meters. This position will also read electric and water meters and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and knowledge of electrical service principles and practices. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5:30p Starting rate: $13.27 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits package. A completed City of Stillwater application is required for consideration. - 85-16 Police Officer (Police)
The Stillwater Police Department is accepting applications for Police Officers. Candidates must be 21-45 years of age, in good physical condition, no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, college preferred. Starting base rate is $22.13 to $24.91 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits package including family medical and dental insurance, paid vacation, holiday and sick leave, police pension, college tuition reimbursement and incentive pay. Patrol Officers work four ten hour shifts per week with three days off. Currently, career (non-supervisory) patrol officers top out at $36.76 per hour. The Stillwater Police Department is one of the most well equipped and trained departments in the country. We support our personnel by providing the latest in equipment and technology. The Stillwater Police Department is housed in a state of the art facility. The building is a four story structure including underground parking, office space, fitness center, central communications center, detention center, and full classroom training facilities. In addition to the state of the art facilities, department members are outfitted with all equipment and uniforms at no cost to the employee, including a Glock 17 9mm, Colt AR-15, and Remington 870 shotgun. The Stillwater Police Department offers a take home car program with each vehicle equipped with high speed internet. Each officer is issued a Getac S400 laptop. Provide service to customers in person or by telephone in regards to installation of utilities, deposits, payments, inquiries, changes, termination of services, etc. Also responsible for data entry, balancing cash drawer, and misc. office duties. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. An ideal candidate would possess excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with people. Schedule: M-F 7:55a.m.-1:55p.m. Starting rate: $13.27-$14.08 per hour. Closing date: 9/29/16
