  • 58-15 Chief Financial Officer

    The City of Stillwater, Oklahoma seeks a highly qualified public finance executive to serve as its next Chief Financial Officer. The CFO is a member of the City Manager’s executive team and is responsible for the City’s strategic and day-to-day public finance operations. This includes but is not limited to, the preparation of monthly financial reports that provide coherent, timely, and critical information for the mayor and city council as well as the city’s department heads. The CFO is a collaborative participant in a wide variety of strategic initiatives for the City, including the analysis of economic development proposals, assistance with the development of the annual budget, and the preparation of the annual audit. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration; Master’s degree in accounting, public finance, business, or public administration preferred; five years of progressively responsible experience in financial management and accounting in a government environment, preferably municipal government; excellence in organization management with the ability to coach senior level staff; ability develop and implement program strategies; and the ability to effectively present information at public meetings. Salary: $100,000 to $115,800 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Special Requirements: Completed City of Stillwater Application, cover letter, and resume.   • 62-15 Stormwater Program Manager (Development Services)

    Develop, implement and coordinate projects, procedures, plans and programs for the City of Stillwater in the areas of stormwater management programming, infrastructure master plans, the NPDES Phase II program, the CRS (Community Rating System) program, and the City’s floodplain management program. Requirements: Degree from accredited college or university in civil engineering, environmental sciences, or a related field, four years of experience in stormwater engineering, environmental sciences, environmental compliance or related field, and a valid driver’s license. Must obtain Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire and accreditation by the Oklahoma Water Resources Board as a Certified Floodplain Manager/Floodplain Administer within twelve months of hire. Resume, cover letter, writing samples and completed City of Stillwater application are required for consideration. Salary range: $59,571 - $84,988.80, plus comprehensive benefits package.     Stormwater Programs Manager Announcement

  • 63-15 Library Administrative Clerk (Library)

    Perform circulation desk duties including checking materials in and out of the library, processing library fines, registering library borrowers and process library card applications, and perform clerical duties as assigned. This position will provide customer service to members of the public of all ages, and assist with overseeing volunteers. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license and one year experience or clerical training; previous library experience preferred. Must obtain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire. Schedule is Monday-Friday, with one evening required. Starting rate: $11.12 per hour plus comprehensive benefits package.   • 65-15 Engineering Technologist (Electric)

    Develop, oversee and manage customer programs and assist in the preparation and maintenance of electrical project estimates, bids, contracts, records, and files. This position will also gather and process data for engineering studies, assist with project research, present findings, and complete special projects as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology (power emphasis preferred) and a valid driver’s license. Must obtain Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire. Experience necessary to provide a thorough knowledge of the principals and practices of electrical engineering required; two years of experience within an electric utility preferred.   • 66-15 Maintenance Worker (Airport Operations)

    Provide a variety of duties related to mowing, construction, repair and maintenance of airport premises, including parking areas, terminal building, hangars, ramps, runways, taxiways, airfield, and safety areas; janitorial and landscape maintenance services on the Stillwater Regional Airport facilities and grounds. Perform aircraft rescue firefighting services and FAR 139 inspections (training will be provided for these areas). Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and one year experience in construction and/or maintenance of buildings, grounds, or facilities or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Must obtain Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days and Class B CDL within six months of hire. Will be required to work shift work, weekends, and unusual hours and to be available on an “on-call” basis. Completed City of Stillwater application required for consideration. Starting range: $12.50-$13.27 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits package. Closing date: 9/7/15

PartTime

  • 64-15 Customer Service Representative

    Provide service to customers in person or by telephone in regards to installation of utilities, deposits, payments, inquiries, changes, termination of services, etc. Also responsible for data entry, balancing cash drawer, and misc. office duties. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Must obtain Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire. Submission of ten key and data entry test results and completed City of Stillwater application are required for consideration. Schedule: M,T,W, F 11:30a.m. - 5:30p.m. and Thurs. 12:30a.m - 5:30p.m. Starting rate: $13.27 per hour. Closing date: 9/7/15
