  • 09-16 Water Treatment Plant Superintendent (Water Utilities)

    Manage, direct, monitor and coordinate the activities at the Water Treatment Plant. This includes the proper operation and maintenance of the water treatment facility, coordination with other divisions and departments, direct the operation and maintenance of the raw water pump stations, transmission lines, water distribution storage facilities, booster and transfer pump stations. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred, five years increasingly responsible experience in water utility operations including three years of supervisory or lead responsibility, and a valid driver’s license. Must obtain Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire. Starting salary: $52,936.00 - $75,504.00 per year, plus comprehensive benefits package.   • 24-16 Water Treatment Plant Operator (Water Treatment)

    Perform a variety of tasks in the operational duties of the City of Stillwater Water Treatment Plant. Position will operate and perform regular inspections of the plant and related equipment; collect and perform laboratory analysis on water samples; monitor water pressures, plant flows, storage tank levels, etc.; and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; one year experience, preferred. Must obtain Class D Water/Wastewater license within six months of hire.   • 25-16 Maintenance Worker (Water Treatment Plant)

    Maintain, operate, and repair the City's water treatment plant equipment, pump stations and storage tanks. Perform manual labor in addition to operating a variety of hand and power tools used in the operation, repair and maintenance of equipment at the water treatment plant, pump stations and offsite storage facilities. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; one year experience, preferred. Must obtain Class D Water/Wastewater license within six months of hire.   • 41-16 Service Attendant (Fleet)

    Perform a variety of duties related to routine preventive maintenance of city owned vehicles and equipment and assist in performing minor mechanical repairs on vehicles and equipment. Position also performs the janitorial duties for the maintenance facility. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license; experience in servicing motor vehicles is preferred. Starting rate: $12.50 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits package.   • 42-16 Equipment Operator I (Waste Management)

    Collect and load into collection vehicle all garbage and recycling along a designated collection route on a daily basis. Position will also operate and maintain refuse collection vehicles and equipment as necessary for commercial and residential areas. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred. Must obtain Class B CDL with air brake endorsement within six months of hire.   • 43-16 Parking Control Officer (Police)

    Enforce City ordinances governing motor vehicle parking, issue tickets for violations, and arrange for impounding of motor vehicles if necessary. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Must obtain Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire.   • 44-16 Maintenance Worker I/II (Operations)

    Utilize a variety of tools, light and heavy equipment to perform work in the construction, maintenance and repair of City streets, parks, facilities, water and wastewater systems. Duties may be performed within Field Services and/or Water Utilities divisions. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred. Must obtain Oklahoma license within thirty days of hire and Class B CDL with air brake endorsement within six months of hire. Starting rate: $12.50 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits package.   • 45-16 Crew Leader (Field Services)

    Supervise and work, along with the crew, the required labor involved in maintenance projects, including water and waste water maintenance and repair, pavement cutting, drainage clearing, concrete removal and replacement, asphalt repairs, parks maintenance, and snow removal. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid Oklahoma Class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsements, Class D water and wastewater license, and a minimum of two years of increasingly responsible experience in Operations. Any combination of education, training and/or experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities may be qualifying. PartTime

  • 39-16 GIS Intern (Electric)

    Provide data and drawings from the computer automated mapping system, verify the accuracy of mapping data by going out into the field to take physical measurements or readings, and perform other GIS mapping tasks associated with electrical engineering design and maintenance projects. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent supplemented by course work in GIS, valid driver’s license, and experience with ESRI ArcGIS and MS Access. Starting rate: $15.00 per hour; approximately 15-20 hours per week. A resume and completed City of Stillwater application required for consideration. Closing date: 5/5/16

Seasonal

  • 12-16 Seasonal Concessions Attendant/Swim Aide

    Assist with swim lessons M-F, 9:30a.m.-12:00p.m. and 6:00p.m.-7:00p.m. Additional responsibilities include selling concessions at the municipal pool and working in the admissions area during open swim time. Concession and Admissions work hours will vary and include afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Requirements: CPR Certification; Basic rescue and lifesaving certification is preferred. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Starting rate: $8.03 per hour. Completed City of Stillwater application required for consideration. Closing date: 5/19/16

  • 13-16 Seasonal Lifeguard/Swim Instructor (Parks and Recreation)

    Lifeguard and swim instruction at the municipal pool mid May – mid August. Applicants must be available to work M-F, 9:00a.m. - 9:30p.m. and Saturday/Sundays, 12:30p.m. – 10:00p.m. Schedule will be approximately 40 hours per week. Requirements: Valid driver’s license, Lifeguard training and CPR/First Aid; WSI preferred. Starting Rate: $9.04 (new lifeguards) or $9.88 (returning lifeguards). Applicants must be 18 years of age.   • 36-16 Seasonal Tennis Instructor

    Teach group lessons to children during morning hours. Approximately 15-20 hours per week during June and July. Requirements: Valid driver’s license and CPR Certification. Incumbent should be experienced in teaching tennis and have a very thorough knowledge of the game. Starting rate: $14.08 per hour. Completed City of Stillwater application required for consideration.   • 40-16 Seasonal Maintenance Worker (Field Services)

    Perform landscape maintenance and mowing on highway right-of-ways and other City properties. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00a.m.-3:30p.m. from May-August. Starting rate: $12.50 per hour. Completed City of Stillwater application required for consideration. Closing date: 5/5/16.
