75-20 Engineering Technician I, II, or III (Water Utilities Engineering): The City of Stillwater is hiring an Engineering Technician I, II, or III. This position will assist the Water Utilities Engineering Department and other City Departments in the performance of various engineering related duties. These duties include drafting, GIS, water and sewer modeling, field investigations, office work, and other duties as assigned. The position is part of an Engineering Technician progression classification that fills the position at levels commensurate with candidates training and experience. This position reports directly to the Water Utilities Engineer.

Water Utilities Engineering
Provide assistance, management and oversight of capital projects which may include studies, design, construction and associated efforts related to water distribution, water treatment, wastewater collection and wastewater treatment. Related activities include scope and budget preparation; development of professional, specialty and construction contracts; technical review of submittals and reports; determining compliance with City and State standards; coordination with other divisions, departments and agencies; and managing pay claims and payment process.

78-20 Children’s Services Assistant (Library): The City of Stillwater is hiring a Children’s Services Assistant to assist with all aspects of the Children’s Department in the Stillwater Public Library. The primary duties will include working at a service desk to help customer, especially children and families, find materials, use library resources and use the computers. Position also includes presenting storytime, planning and implementing educational programs to children, and assisting with reading programs.

80-20 Journeyman Lineworker

Full Time Closing Date: 11/20/20
Salary Range: $37.14 - $38.63
Perform the construction, installation, operation and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical power systems, including distribution and transmission lines and substation facilities. Position will also perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment, machinery, and tools, respond to service calls concerning power outages and electrical problems, and other duties as assigned.
