Summary:
The Senior Accountant position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the financial records of the City, the annual preparation of the City budget document and financial reports, and the completion of complex analytics. This is a self-directed position requiring the ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, rate setting methodology and municipal budgeting standards.

The City of Stillwater is hiring a Property Evidence Technician to be responsible for the administrative and technical duties associated with the maintenance and control of all property and evidence retained by the Police department property custody unit. This position will also protect the integrity of evidence throughout the judicial process and oversee supply inventory acquisition, maintenance and distribution.

(88-18) Police Officer The Stillwater Police Department is accepting applications for anticipated full time police officer openings in 2019. Candidates must be 21-45 years of age, in good physical condition, no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, and High School diploma or equivalent required, college preferred. Starting base rate is $22.13 to $24.91/hr. ($46,030.40 to $51,812.80 Annual), comprehensive benefits package including family medical and dental insurance, paid vacation, holiday and sick leave, police pension, college tuition reimbursement and incentive pay. Patrol Officers work four ten hour shifts per week with three days off. Currently, career (non-supervisory) patrol officers top out at $36.76 per hour ($76,460.80 Annual). The Stillwater Police Department is one of the best equipped and trained departments in the country. We support our personnel by providing the latest in equipment and technology. The Stillwater Police Department is housed in a state of the art facility. The building is a four story structure including underground parking, office space, fitness center, central communications center, detention center, and full classroom training facilities. Department members are outfitted with all equipment and uniforms at no cost to the employee, including a Glock pistol and Colt AR-15 rifle.
