Summary:
Provide assistance, management and oversight of capital projects which may include studies, design, construction and associated efforts related to water distribution, water treatment, wastewater collection and wastewater treatment. Related activities include scope and budget preparation; development of professional, specialty and construction contracts; technical review of submittals and reports; determining compliance with City and State standards; coordination with other divisions, departments and agencies; and managing pay claims and payment process.

68-19 Water Utilities Engineer/Specialist

Summary:
Provides assistance, project management and expertise in support of the needs of the Water Utilities Engineering Department and Engineering and Planning Division's programs, which include asset management, master planning, development of engineering and construction standards, and supporting other departments. The Water Utilities Engineer reports directly to the Engineering Manager. If the position is filled by an individual who is not a registered Engineer in the State of Oklahoma, the position will be referred to as Water Utilities Specialist.

92-19 Police Officer (Police): The Stillwater Police Department is accepting applications for Police Officers. Candidates must be 21-45 years of age, in good physical condition, no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, college preferred. Starting salary range rate is $23.70-$26.68 per hour (based on experience), plus comprehensive benefits package including family medical and dental insurance, paid vacation, holiday and sick leave, police pension, college tuition reimbursement and incentive pay. Patrol Officers work four ten hour shifts per week with three days off. Currently, career (non-supervisory) patrol officers top out at $39.38 per hour. The Stillwater Police Department is one of the most well equipped and trained departments in the country. We support our personnel by providing the latest in equipment and technology. The Stillwater Police Department is housed in a state of the art facility. The building is a four story structure including underground parking, office space, fitness center, central communications center, detention center, and full classroom training facilities. In addition to the state of the art facilities, department members are outfitted with all equipment and uniforms at no cost to the employee, including a Glock 17 9mm & Colt AR-15. The Stillwater Police Department offers a take home car program with each vehicle equipped with high speed internet.
