Summary:
The City of Stillwater is currently accepting applications for Firefighter I/ EMT. Candidates applying should be licensed as an EMT- A, EMT-I or EMT-P with one year of verifiable experience in EMS, Firefighting, Public Safety, Emergency Management or Military Service. Candidates applying as an EMT-B must have the ability to become licensed as an EMT-A within 18 months of employment; and should possess certifications as Firefighter 1 & 2, Haz-Mat Operations, NIMS 100,200 and 700, or equivalent training through military service, IFSAC , Pro-Board, or an accredited university. All candidates must successfully complete the CPAT. (CPAT is not required for members currently in the Oklahoma Firefighter Retirement System) Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements of the Oklahoma Firefighter Pension and Retirement System and pass an extensive background check prior to employment.

12-18 Equipment Operator I (Waste Management)

Summary:
The City of Stillwater is hiring a Communications Assistant to assist with a variety of duties for the Marketing and Public Relations Department. This position will be assigned and trained for content creation (documents, graphics & photography), supervised social media management and assisting in production of print material, media releases and videos. This position will perform administrative assistant duties to the Marketing Coordinator, manage editorial calendar and assist with special events.
