League of Women Voters and Friends of Library host Legislative Reception
(STILLWATER, OKLA. / Jan. 12, 2012) – The Stillwater League of Women Voters and Friends of the Stillwater Public Library invite you to attend a Legislative Reception at the Stillwater Public Library Auditorium on Thursday, Jan. 26 from at 5 to 7 p.m.
Senator James Halligan and Representative Cory Williams will be present to provide information on the upcoming legislative session and to answer questions. Other elected officials invited include the Mayor and City Council, Payne County officials and Stillwater Board of Education. Stillwater City Management has also been invited to attend.
“This come-and-go event provides citizens an opportunity to stop by the public library to visit with elected officials.” said Library Director Lynda Reynolds. “In addition to having the chance to visit one-on-one, constituents will also have the opportunity to submit written questions which will be read to our legislators by a representative."

The Stillwater Public Library is located at 1107 S. Duck St. (the corner of Duck and 12th Ave.). Library hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
