“With a month still to go until the Spring Sale, the book sorting room is nearly bursting,” said Lynda Reynolds, library director. “This will be one of our largest spring sales ever, so anyone looking for a bargain will definitely find many.”

The book sale is held in the Stillwater Public Library auditorium, 1107 S. Duck and kicks off Thursday, April 14 with a Friends' members-only preview sale from 5 to 8 p.m.

Upon use, any unused amount on the certificate will become a donation to the organization. Certificates are available for purchase at the checkout desk.

“The certificates make thoughtful and exciting gifts for anyone who loves books or loves to read,” said Reynolds.

Membership in the Friends of the Stillwater Public Library is open to the public for an annual fee of $10. Memberships can be purchased at the door before the preview sale. Shoppers who purchase a membership at the spring sale will not need to purchase one for the fall sale  Buyers at the preview sale will be limited to 100 items, including 50 children’s books.
