Saturday, June 4: Library announces encore performance of its gardening program for teens and adults with developmental disabilities
(STILLWATER, OKLA. / May 16, 2011) – The Stillwater Public Library will host a second presentation of the special one-hour workshop on composting and gardening for teens and adults with developmental disabilities and their families or caretakers.
Bob Brown, a local gardener, will repeat his presentation of "Circles of Life: From Soil to Seed to Fruit to People" on Saturday, June 4 at 10 a.m. The workshop includes hands-on gardening and composting activities, door prizes and refreshments.
“The successful program on May 7 gave everyone a chance to get real experience with helpful and fun home skills like composting and starting plants from seed,” said Lynda Reynolds, library director. “We’ve been asked for a repeat performance to accommodate people busy with OSU graduation and other activities.”

(STILLWATER, OKLA. / April 25, 2011) –The Stillwater Public Library will host a special one-hour workshop on composting and gardening for teens and adults with deelopmental disabilities and their families or caretakers.
Bob Brown, a local gardener, will present "Circles of Life: From Soil to Seed to Fruit to People" on Saturday May 7 at 10 a.m. The workshop will include hands-on gardening and composting activities, door prizes and refreshments.
“In our most recent long-range plan, we identified adults with developmental disabilities as a group on which we wanted to focus more time and materials,” said Lynda Reynolds, library director. “We think this program will be educational and entertaining, and it will give families a chance to meet, network, and socialize.”
