Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! Area teens invited to the Stillwater Public Library's Chocolate Festival Feb. 15
(STILLWATER, OKLA. / Feridab. 4, 2011) – Chocolate and more chocolate! Stillwater Public Library’s popular teen's Chocolate Festival returns on Tuesday, Feb. 15. "Chocoholics” in grades 6 to 12 are invited to the library from 4 to 5:30 p.m. for a program full of chocolate eating, treats, games, crafts and contests.
“This event is our most popular teen program besides summer reading,” said Recilla Harms, librarian. “Our Chocolate Festival is free of charge, and it attracts many teens to the library for the first time. We show them how exciting the library can be. It gives us the opportunity to show the teens what the library can do for them in reading and programming.”
At the festival, there will be a variety of chocolates including chocolate fondu with fruit, cake, and pretzels for dipping. Teens will even create a chocolate treat themselves by making “Fudge-in-a-Bag.” There will be also a variety of craft projects available for teens to make if they desire. Chocolate games are “Remember That Chocolate” and “Hugs ‘n Kisses”chocolate trivia game. Contests will include “How Many Candies in the Jar?” and “Name the Candy Bar.”
