Buzzworthy Bistro is on the move! (to the library's 3rd floor)
(STILLWATER, OKLA. / April 25, 2011) – The Buzzworthy Bistro is moving—up two flights of stairs that is. Beginning Tuesday, May 3, the Stillwater Public Library’s popular Buzzworthy Bistro will be held on the third floor of the meeting rooms side of the building.
“We're excited about the move,” Librarian Scott Freeman said. “Since we began the Buzzworthy Bistro last year, we've established the focus is on books, and now we want to spend some time cultivating a more bistro-like atmosphere. The new location will allow us the space and flexibility to create the feel we are looking for.”
The Buzzworthy Bistro is held the first Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m., during which Freeman highlights "books with buzz" that have just released and as well as upcoming titles. "We discuss authors that may have slipped by most readers’ radars, and we try to keep everyone informed about new books from perennial bestsellers like John Grisham, Charlaine Harris and Stephen King," he added.
Each Buzzworthy Bistro program includes coffees and treats to create a warm, friendly bistro atmosphere, and participants have a chance to win an advanced copy of a soon to be released book. Refreshments are provided by the Friends of the Library.
“There are just so many good books that are released each month it's difficult to keep up,” said Freeman. “I hope the bistro makes it easier for people to be fully aware of all that is out there. Anyone who loves books should make plans to attend."

The Stillwater Public Library is located at 1107 S. Duck St. Library hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
