Teens: Solve the 'Gift Giving' dilemma with a 'Gift Making' program Dec. 4 at 4 p.m. at the Stillwater Public Library

Looking for some Holiday Cheer? Consider attending some of these community events.

(STILLWATER, OKLA. / Nov. 18, 2009) – As the holidays approach, “What can I give?” and “How can I buy all those gifts?” begin to invade our thoughts. Stillwater Public Library can answer those questions for teens in grades 6-12. On Friday, Dec. 4 at 4 p.m., the library will offer “Gift Making” to solve these gifting dilemmas.

Recilla Harms, teen librarian, gave this advice: “Take a break from school work, leave the shopping and expense behind, and make gifts for those special people in your life.”

The program, which is free of charge, will provide a variety of projects available to make that will make charming personal gifts for the holiday or any time of the year.

"You may even want to give yourself a gift," said Harms. Also the participants will enjoy a bit of Christmas refreshments while they create.
