Clutter support group to meet at Stillwater Public Library

(STILLWATER, OKLA. / Sept. 2, 2009) –– Do you have clutter? If so, plan to be a member of a new decluttering support group that will meet the second Wednesday of each month at noon at the Stillwater Public Library, Room 119.

Presented by Fresh Perspective Organizing Services and hosted by the Stillwater Public Library, Clutter Control Club will receive monthly suggested assignments for decluttering their homes and will learn about library materials on organizing and space management topics.

Upcoming meetings are slated for Sept. 9, Oct. 14, Nov. 11, and Dec. 9. These meetings are free and open to the public; however, registration is required.

Group leader Shannon Cowan, of Fresh Perspective Organizing Services, hopes to create a non-judgmental support system made up of members willing to brainstorm and sympathize with others’ space management problems.

“If you’re a clutter bug that wants to get organized, come and join us as we journey together to do just that,” said Cowan. “We’ll discuss your specific space, strategize how to get started, plot out a plan, and walk with you as you reach your goals. No situation is hopeless. Learn skills, get motivated, and be encouraged.”

Group members should plan to bring a brown bag for lunch.
