OSU students may drop unwanted 'bulk' at the Convenience Collection Center

OSU students are invited to drop off their bulk items at the Convenience Collection Center, 809 S. Perkins Road, between April 27 and May 22 at to charge. The Center provides area residents with a convenient, professionally staffed, drive-thru service for disposing of non-hazardous recyclable goods, household waste and green waste.

(STILLWATER, OKLA. / March 26, 2009) — This spring when OSU students move out of their apartments and houses, they may drop off their unwanted bulk items (boxes, electronics, etc.) at the Convenience Collection Center at no charge between Monday, April 27 and Friday, May 22. All they need to do is bring their valid student I.D. cards.

The Convenience Collection Center, 809 S. Perkins Road, provides area residents with a convenient, professionally staffed, drive-thru service for disposing of non-hazardous recyclable goods, household waste and green waste.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 am. to noon.

The Convenience Collection Center accepts the following types of items: solid and liquid recyclables (including used cooking oil), green waste, tires, appliances, electronics (including tvs) and furniture items.
