Register before 5-14-08: PGA Professional Fred Forbes, Eric Kizer, Marny Moody, and Rick Jackson of Lakeside Golf Club will offer free ten-minute lessons Wednesday, May 14 from 4 – 6:30 p.m. in conjunction with the 11th annual Play Golf America’s PGA Free Lesson Month. Contact the Lakeside Pro Shop to sign up.

5-25-08/5-26-08: The Stillwater Public Library will be closed Sunday, May 25 and Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day
5-26-08: There will be no residential waste collection on Monday May 26. When service returns to your area on Thursday, May 29, you will be allowed to place up to ten items (trash cans, bags, boxes) for curb-side pick up, which is double the normal limit. Waste Management Division will provide Commercial Service (Dumpster) on Memorial Day.

City Management Office

The City of Stillwater is organized by City Charter as a council-manager form of government. The city manager answers directly to the mayor and City Council and serves at their pleasure as the chief administrative officer of the City.

The city manager also serves as general manager of the City Trust Authorities, including the Stillwater Utility Authority, Public Works Authority, and the Regional Airport Authority.

The City Management Office is located on the first floor of the Stillwater Municipal Building (723 S. Lewis) and is staffed by the city manager, two deputy city managers, a director of marketing and public relations, and an executive assistant.
