July 4th: Boomer Blast Fireworks Show & Annual Fishing Tournament

If Boomer Blast is rained out, the firework show will be on Friday July 5 or  September 2 (Labor Day).

Join the City of Stillwater for the 2013 Boomer Blast

(STILLWATER, OKLA. / June 15, 2013) — Join the City of Stillwater as it presents Boomer Blast, the annual Independence Day fireworks show Thursday, July 4 at Boomer Lake Park (Lakeview Road and Washington Street).

Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit back and enjoy the free show. Parking lots open at 6:30 p.m. Show will start around 9:35 p.m.

Be sure to participate in the 16th Annual Family Fishing Tournament at 6 a.m. that morning at Boomer Lake's south boat ramp. Registration is at 5:30 a.m. Teams may consist of up to four family members. There are both boat and non-boat categories. Boomer Blast Family Fishing Tournament

16th Annual Family Fishing Tournament
at Boomer Lake on July 4

(STILLWATER, OKLA. / June 15, 2013) — Does your family love to fish? If so participate in the 16th Annual Family Fishing Tournament Thursday, July 4 at Boomer Lake Park (Lakeview Road and Washington Street) at the south boat ramp.

Registration begins at 5:30 a.m. The tournament will be from 6 to 11 a.m. Tournament weigh-in is at 11 a.m.

Entry fee is $12 per team and teams may consist of up to four family members. There are boat and non-boat categories.
