The Water Utilities Department applied for ARRA (Stimulus) Funding through 2 sources: the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Loan Program for water projects and the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Loan Program for wastewater projects. ODEQ and OWRB approved the City’s applications in August 2009. Total requested: $14.1 Million

OkConnect is a federal ARRA grant received by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries from the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program and awarded to Stillwater Public Library. The goal of the grant is to provide Oklahoma public libraries with advanced internet services for library users. Specifically, the Stillwater Public Library will receive: room-based video conferencing system;10 new laptops, webcams, headphones and work carrels for the computer lab; Internet connection speed of 100mbps; and network equipment including terminal router, firewall, WiFi router, and switches.
